Revamped HGTV's 'Design Star' to debut June 13

Survivor meets HGTV? Survivor producer Mark Burnett takes over the helm of HGTV's popular Design Star for the series' 5th edition, set to debut on June 13.  One of the biggest changes is the show is going without a host.  Hosted by Clive Pearse for the first 4 seasons, this season the returning judges will present the various challenges.  All the judges will return:  Vern Yip, Genevieve Gorder, and Candice Olsen.  The season will run through the summer, crowning the winner on August 22nd.  The winner will be awarded his or her own series on HGTV.  You can check out this season's contestants on HGTV's Design Star homepage.
